Almont falls to Armada

ALMONT — Almont dropped a 5-1 road verdict to Armada in a Blue Water Area Conference boys’ soccer confrontation Monday.

With the outcome, Almont slips to 0-1 versus Blue Water Area Conference counterparts and overall.

In Monday’s confrontation, Almont spotted Armada a 2-1 halftime edge.

Armada then outscored Almont 3-0 the rest of the way, closing out a 5-1 win.

Gabriel Nucolovic provided the lone Almont goal, that coming via a free kick.

Tristan Mayer handled the goalkeeping chores for Almont. He was credited with 17 saves.
