Notice is hereby given there will be a public hearing before the Almont Township Planning Commission on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Almont Township Hall, 819 N. Main Street, Almont, Michigan 48003, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a Special Land Use application from Southern Truck Equipment of 4310 Van Dyke (44-001-016-016-00). The property in question is zoned Commercial/Office. Southern Truck Equipment proposes to expand their Special Land Use by constructing two (2) additional cold storage buildings on their site. All documents pertaining to said application will be available for inspection at the Township Hall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be available at the time and place of the meeting . All interested citizens will be given an opportunity to comment on this application. Written comments may be submitted up to the time of the meeting at the Township Hall located at 819 N. Main Street, Almont, MI 48003.
