Ross competes at Junior Golds

ALMONT — Hunter Ross, a 2025 graduate of Almont High School, obtained a 281st place among 18U entrants at the Junior Gold Championships recently.

The event, which attracts some of the top bowlers nationwide, was contested July 14-17 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Ross finished his 16 games with an output of 3,095, leaving him 281st with an average of 193.4 per game.

The top-192 totals move on to the advancers round.

A total of 1,341 bowlers were entered in the division.
