Arnold claims second in half marathon race

ALMONT — Lake Orion’s Rebecca Arnold, a graduate of Almont High School, ranked among the top finishers at the Volkslaufe Half Marathon last Friday in Frankenmuth.

She pulled up second among all female participants aided by a clocking of 1:23:19.

Arnold’s showing was also good for fifth overall.

Cassandra Klingler was the women’s race pacesetter. Klingler posted a 1:22:51 clocking en route.
