Three Raiders make All-State

ALMONT — Almont had three of their players recognized on the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association Division 3 All-State lineup announced recently.

Avery Peake, a senior defender, attained All-State first team status. This spring Peake provided Almont with 13 goals and three assists.

Lola Battaglia, a junior forward, was a first team selection as well. She contributed 47 goals and 17 assists to Almont’s cause.

Callie McCarthy, a sophomore midfielder, also landed a spot on the team. She provided Almont with 26 goals and 16 assists, paving the way to All-State honorable plaudits.

Peake, Battaglia and McCarthy were also named to the All-Region and All-District squads.

Natalia Radisavljevic, Nora Yarbrough, Jillian Rienas and Anna LaBroski joined them on the All-District teams.
