Almont picks up 8-0 district win

ALMONT — Almont picked up an 8-0 victory over visiting Cros-Lex in a Division 3 girls’ district soccer clash last Wednesday.

Lola Battaglia (set up by Callie McCarthy), Lola Battaglia (assisted by Natalia Radisavljevic), Battaglia (set up by Radisavljevic), Battaglia assisted by McCarthy), Battaglia (set up by Radisavljevic), McCarthy (assisted by Battaglia), Battaglia (set up by McCarthy) and McCarthy (assisted by Carlie Johnson) furnished Almont’s goals.

LaBroski got the win in net for Almont. She was credited with three saves.
