Almont turns back league rival Yale

ALMONT — Almont earned a 9-4 win against visiting Yale in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity baseball game last Wednesday.

Brock Murphy (two singles and a double), Jason Lane (three singles), Tyler Brown (a single and a double), Dalton Oliphant (two singles) plus Colten Karbel (a single) collected Almont’s hits.

Jason Lane, Ian Meyers and Blake Lane shared the pitching responsibilities for the winning Almont side. They allowed eight total hits, struck out six and walked four along the way.
