Spartan girls fall to BWAC rivals

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City girls’ track squad dropped 79-48 verdict to North Branch and a 98-29 outcome to host Yale in Blue Water Area Conference action on Tuesday, April 22.

Charlotte O’Brien, 800 (2:48.7) and 1600-meter (6:13.76) runs; led Imlay City with individual event firsts against North Branch.

The Imlay City 1600-meter relay of Hannah Hayes, Grace Sample, Elaina Stadelbauer and O’Brien also prevailed. They were timed in 4:56.64.

Morgam Roberston, shot put, 30 feet 3/4 inches; and Alex Robinson, 100 dash, 13.82 seconds; managed Imlay City’s individual event firsts versus Yale.

The Imlay City 400 and 800 relays Juliane Gailer, Hannah Carney and Robinson also emerged victorious. They were timed in 57.19 seconds and 2:01.01, respectively.
