Dryden third at Davison

TRI-CITY AREA — The Dryden (68 points), Almont (66.53) and Imlay City (52) girls’ track squads registered respective finishes of third, fourth and seventh among small school entries last Friday at the Shake Off the Rust Invitational in Davison.

Chesaning won the meet with 117.33 points.

Caila Fitchett, 300-meter hurdles, 53.0 seconds; led Dryden with a first.

Fitchett, 200 dash, 28.49 seconds; and Claire Wright, 3200-meter run, 13:22.24; gave Dryden individual event seconds.

The Dryden 3200 relay of Cara Prusakiewicz, Lilyana Lasher, Wright and Fitchett took second as well. They were timed in 11:53.87.

Keira Miller, 100-meter dash, 14.5 seconds; supplied Dryden with an individual event third.

The Dryden 800 relay of Karley Phillips, Olivia Zellers, Miller and Fitchett wound up third as well, thanks to a 2:00.25 clocking.

Wright, 1600-meter run, 6:07.49; managed an individual event fourth for Dryden.

The Dryden 1600 relay of Mallory Barker, Phillips, Wright and Miller pulled up fourth in 5:06.31.

Miller, long jump, 12 feet 9 inches; and Zellers, 200-meter dash, 29.93 seconds; collected Dryden’s fifths.

Zellers, high jump, 4 feet 3 inches; Barker, long jump, 12 feet 5 1/2 inches; and Phillips, 400 dash, 1:18.42; furnished Dryden’s individual event eighths.

The Dryden 400-meter relay of Jalynn Delmotte, Elaina Yatros, Mya Hill and MaKayla Mater ranked eighth as well. They posted a time of 1:03.29 en route.

Madison Niedermaier, pole vault (7 feet) and long jump (14 feet 7 inches); paced Almont with a pair of seconds

Madison Miodowski, shot put, 29 feet 9 inches; and Laila Evola, 1600 run, (6:07.28) and 3200 13:36.91) run; provided Almont with thirds.

Greta Schwarberg, 400-meter dash, 1:15.17; Taylor Stanczak, 800 run, 2:53.35; and Amanda Fitchett, 3200-meter run, 15:15.39; supplied Almont with individual event fourths.

The Almont 3200 relay of Jenna Kline, Laila Evola, Fitchett and Schwarberg took fourth as well. They stopped the watch at 12:17.32.

Serena Evola, long jump, 12 feet 7 inches; Miodowski, discus, 72 feet 10 inches; claimed Almont’s sixths.

Stanczak, 1600 run, 6:21.14; collected an individual event seventh for Almont.

The 400 (Ella Tesluk, Brooke Wood Serena Evola and Niedemaier) and 1600-meter (Kline, Schwarberg, Tesluk and Wood) generated sevenths for Almont as well. They were timed in 1:02.6 and 5:24.76, respectively.

Grace Vandyke, discus, 68 feet; and Serena Evola, 100-meter hurdles, 21.68 seconds; managed Almont’s individual event eighths.

Juliane Gailer, 100-meter dash, 14.57 seconds; led Imlay City that day.

Melanie Veleda, 1600 run, 7:31.38; provided Imlay City with an individual event third.

The Imlay City 3200 -meter relay of Grace Sample, Hannah Hayes, Ang Ross and Charlotte O’Brien were third in 12:05.61.

Maggie Harmon, long jump, 13 feet 6 inches; managed the lone Imlay City individual event fourth.

The Imlay City 400 (Hannah Carney, Rylee Tyack, Alex Robinson and Gailer) and 800 (Gailer, Tyack, Carney and Robinson) relays registered fourths They were timed in 58.45 seconds and 2:03.69, respectively.

Elaina Stadelbauer, 100 (20.51 seconds) and 300-meter (1:01.43) hurdles; and Villeda, 3200 run, 16:26.62; gave Imlay City a pair of fifths.

Robinson, 200-meter dash, 30.0 seconds; and Cadence Muxlow, 3200 run, 16:31.58; provided Imlay City with a sixth.

The Imlay City 1600-meter relay of Stadelbauer, Hayes, Sample and O’Brien wound up sixth with a clocking of 5:09.

Brielle Bertram, 400 dash, 1:26.47; and O’Brien, 800-meter run, 3:01.13; supplied Imlay City with a seventh.

Sample, 800 run, 3:01.23; added an eighth to Imlay City’s cause.
