Imlay City girls’ qualify for state’s

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City girls’ bowling team will be headed to the Division 3 state finals this Friday at Jax 60 Lanes in Jackson.

They earned the right to compete there, thanks to a second last Friday at a regional hosted by Striker’s in Armada.

Armada (2,844) and Imlay City (2,605) secured the top two spots that day.

Yale (2,538), Cros-Lex (2,504), Algonac (2,423), Clintondale (2,323), Regina (2,152), Almont (1,817), Marine City (1,783), Warrren Lincoln (1,763), South Lake (1,615) and Richmond (1,568) rounded out the field assembled.
