Dryden picks up a pair of wins

DRYDEN — Dryden went 2-0 in a pair of varsity girls’ basketball contests this past week.

The team opened that two-game stint with a 39-35 road win against non-league foe Parkway Christian on Monday, February 10.

Keira Miller led Dryden with 22 points. The Cardinals also had Isabella Weier (seven points), Jalynn Delmotte and Kierstyn Stankevich (four each) plus Mya Hill (two) reach the scoring column.

Dryden also picked up a 32-20 non-league road victory over Big Thumb Conference Blue Division counterpart North Huron on Tuesday, February 11.

Miller (16) and Weier (14) supplied the highest Dryden point totals. They were backed by Stankevich (two points).

With the outcomes, Dryden goes to 9-6 and 4-2.
