Dryden falls to Kingston, 46-32

DRYDEN — Dryden was downed 46-32 by visiting Kingston in a Big Thumb Conference varsity boys’ basketball battle last Friday night.

With the decision, Kingston improves to12-5 and 7-0. Dryden drops to 12-7 and 5-3.

In Friday’s battle, Kingston opened up a 14-7 advantage after one quarter and led 21-16 at the halftime break.

When the action resumed, Kingston struck with an 8-2 third quarter edge. That left them up 29-18 with 24 minutes gone.

Kingston then outscored Dryden 17-14 the rest of the way, finishing off a 46-32 win

Sonny Coscione (13 points, including a pair of trifectas) paced Dryden that evening. He was backed by Luke Taylor (seven points), Brady Schneider (six), David Insley (four) and Santiago Perales (two).
