Capac leaves Memphis with a victory
CAPAC — Capac earned a 58-23 win against host Memphis in a Big Thumb Conference Black Division varsity boys’ basketball clash on Tuesday, January 21.
With the final, Capac moves to 4-9 and 2-4. Memphis falls to 4-11 and 1-4.
In Tuesday’s clash, Capac grabbed an 11-1 advantage after one quarter was over and increased their cushion to 27-8 at the half.
Capac then outscored Memphis 31-15 from that point on, assuring themselves of a 58-23 victory at night’s end.
Austin Howard (11 including a trifecta) and Wiley Roose (11) supplied the highest Capac point totals. The Chiefs also had Bryce Lietz (eight points, featuring a pair of treys), Adam Schaefer (seven, with a triple), Alan Uribe-Arce (six), Boston Vock (five, including a trifecta), Aaron Coltson (four), Nick Delia (a trey), Brendan Bussone (two) and Joe Dalessandro (one).
