GOODLAND TWP. — Full of life and love is how friends and family members remember Olivia Bradshaw.

The 30-year-old wife and new mother lost her life in a tragic accident on December 11, 2024, as she attempted to rescue the family dog who had fallen through the ice in their backyard pond.

Today, neighbors and residents are honoring Olivia’s memory in an effort to support her husband, Dallas, and their baby son, Weston, as they navigate life without her.

Fundraising efforts kicked off last week when local residents created a cannister in remembrance of Olivia and asked the Goodland Township board if they could place it at the township hall to collect donations.

The board not only approved the request, they dug into their pockets—raising $456 that evening.

They’re hoping the momentum to support the Bradshaws will continue via the donation jar that now sits at the township hall. Residents are welcome to stop in during regular business hours to make a donation. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, and noon-8 p.m. on Thursday.

“Those who knew Olivia will remember her as the epitome of love, courage, and creativity,” says the obituary at jansenfuneralhome.com. “She poured her heart into caring for her husband Dallas and nurturing their baby boy Weston, creating a home filled with laughter, learning, and love.”
