Imlay City falls versus Lake Orion

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City wound up with a 56-28 road loss to Lake Orion in a non-league varsity girls’ basketball confrontation Monday night.

With the decision, Lake Orion moves to 6-2 overall. Imlay City slips to 3-4 this season.

For Imlay City, Alexis Bruyere led the way with a 12-point performance. She was backed by Alexa Lengemann (eight points), Makayla Phillips (three), Montanna Eads and Allison Shafer (two each) along with Addison Cameron (one).

Imlay City returns to action this Thursday when it hosts BWAC rival Almont. That matchup lists a 7:30 p.m. starting time.
