Capac Chamber invites you to their Cranberry Christmas this Saturday

CAPAC — Folks in this western St. Clair County village will be joining in on the fun of celebrating their Christmas festival “A Cranberry Christmas” this Saturday, December 7.

The Chamber of Commerce has been busy planning special events throughout the day, highlighted by a Christmas parade later in the day, along with the lighting of the Christmas Tree at Melody Park.

There are three Christmas craft shows scheduled throughout town, Cider with the Grinch, cookie decorating at Momma’s Donuts & Bakery and smore’s with Choice One Bank.

Visitors will be able to Meet with Santa beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Miller’s Place and of course, the big parade will proceed through town, stepping off at 6 p.m.

The Capac Chamber of Commerce extends a warm welcome to visitors to stop in town and enjoy the day celebrating a Cranberry Christmas.

Below is a schedule of events for the day in Capac:

•10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Christmas Craft Shows at Conrad Community Center, Capac Historical Society & St. John’s

•1- 4 p.m.: Glitter Tattoos & Balloons, 113 S. Main St.

•1:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.: Crafts and Photo Area, 113 S. Main St.

•2-4 p.m.: Cider with the Grinch, Miller’s Place

•2-4 p.m.: Cookie Decorating, 2 Momma’s Donuts & Bakery

•2:30- 4:30p – Meet Santa! – 113 S. Main St.

•2-4 p.m.: Smores with Choice One Bank, Melody Park

•3 p.m.: Christmas Bingo, 113 S. Main St.

•5:30 p.m.: Line up at the high school to be in the Parade

•6 p.m.: Parade Begins

After the Parade, meet everyone at Melody Park for the Tree Lighting, Presentation of Best Float Awards and hot cocoa with the Capac Choir.
