Denver finishes first in annual 5K
IMLAY CITY — Imlay City’s Jessica Denver registered a 20:43.35 clocking, good for first place last Saturday at the Imlay City Christian School 5K.
Lilah Weber, of Metamora, wound up second with a time of 21:07.75.
Imlay City’s Jenna Denver ranked third on the strength of a 22:07.39 clocking.
Kyra Beemer (hometown not available), 23:07.97; Imlay City’s Tana Everhart, 23:43.56; Laila Evola, Almont, 23:53.56; Lapeer’s Lydia Powers, 23:56.89; Armada’s Helena Rieff, 24:07.89; and Capac’s Riley Schlaufman, 24:48.08; and Metamora’s L. Weber, 24:54.45; provided top-ten finishes as well.
