Denver, Bhatti run at XC Nationals
IMLAY CITY — A pair of former Imlay City High School standouts competed for the St. Clair County College women’s cross country team at the NJCAA Division 2 Championships which took place recently.
The meet was held Saturday, November 9 at Pole Green Park in Richmond, Virginia.
Jenna Denver paced the duo. The freshman pulled up 119th in 21:31.2.
Her classmate, Laela Bhatti, was not far behind her that day. Bhatti placed 126th, needing 21:34.4 to accomplish the feat.
