Dryden claims regional cross country boys title
DRYDEN — The Dryden boys’ cross country team claimed a first-place finish last Saturday at a Division 4 regional.
Wagener County Park is where the meet was contested.
Dryden (58 points), Marlette (66) and Harbor Beach (70) held down the top-three spots at meet’s end.
Those schools advance to this Saturday’s state finals at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.
Logan Roman, sixth, 17:42.67; registered the quickest Dryden clocking. The Cardinals also counted results from Levi Fitchett, 13th, 18:21.62; Noah Hall, 15th, 18:24.13; Sean Finnigan, 16th, 18:33.58; and Jaycen Roberts, 21st, 18:47.33.
Donovan Glasgow represented Capac that day. Glasgow pulled up 32nd in 19:39.02.
