Marchwinski Scramble attracts a 110 to tourney

Ethan Stine, Ashton Stine, Jack Crowley and Bjorn Dahl took tournement honors with a 14-under-par total.

DRYDEN — A foursome consisting of Dryden High School graduate Jack Crowley along with Bjorn Dahl, Ethan Stine and Ashton Stine carded a 14-under-par output of 58 en route to win the Ninth Annual Kirk Marchwinski Golf Outing on Saturday, August 10.

Heather Hills Golf Club hosted the event which attracted a field of 110 participants.

Gary Johnson won the squiggly line contest.

Mindy Hendrickson and Steven Swider claimed closest to the pin honors for women and men, respectively.

Audrey Napolitano, Lily Finnigan and Ava DeVlaminck were the recipients of this year’s Kirk Marchwinski Scholarship.

“It warms our hearts to see so many of Kirk’s and our friends come out year after year to support us in remembering Kirk,” his mom Renee remarked. “We love being able to honor him in a way to give back to others,” she emphasized.

“We look forward to the outing every year. It is almost like having a family outing. We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for participating and contributing to this event with us.”

Next year’s event will be on August 9.
