ALMONT — Olivia Kotelnicki posted a 103 en route to a two-way tie for third medalist honors and Noelle Bourdeau carded a 112 for seventh overall, leading the Almont girls’ golf team to a first-place finish last Friday at a Blue Water Area Conference Invitational.
Richmond Forest Golf Course is where the action unfolded.
Almont edged Richmond, 445 to 448, for team honors that day. They were followed by Yale (455) and North Branch (481).
Imlay City and Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest also participated, but did not field complete squads.
The winning Almont side also counted Eva Rayl’s 115 and Rachael Johnson’s 116. That left them 11th and 12th, respectively, individually.
Alexa Lengemann paced Imlay City’s two-golfer contingent. She managed a 90 over 18 holes, earning her match medalist accolades.
Lakynn Alessandrini also competed for Imlay City. She shot a 125, leaving her in a two-way tie for 18th.
