Hurley to suit up for Adrian

 

CAPAC — Wyatt Hurley, a 2024 graduate of Capac High School, will suit up for the Adrian College football team this fall.

He is coming off an outstanding senior campaign which saw him haul in 16 receptions for 183 yards, an average of 11.4 yards per catch.

The 6-4 and 235-pound tight end also registered three touchdowns en route to those numbers.

He also contributed 35 solo stops and six assisted tackles to Capac’s cause as a defensive end. Those numbers earned him All-North Central Thumb Stars Division first team accolades at season’s end.

Hurley was a Tri-City Times All-Area first team selection at both positions.

Adrian will look to bounce back after going 1-9 overall a
year ago. That included a 0-6 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association showing, good for seventh place.

Hurley and his Adrian College teammates open their
season Saturday, September 7 when
they entertain Elmhurst. The non-league encounter begins at
1 p.m.
