Peters returns to SC4

TRI-CITY AREA — Dryden’s Jessica Peters and Imlay City’s Natalie Miller are listed on the roster of the St. Clair County Community College women’s soccer team this fall.

Their squad is coming off a 10-8-2 campaign, including a 5-8-1 showing as far as Michigan Community College Athletic Association Eastern Conference clashes are concerned.

Peters, a forward, enjoyed an outstanding campaign for St. Clair County Community College a year ago. It was there she finished the regular season tied for first in the region with 25 goals scored.

Her goal total represented a single season school record.

Peters also contributed five assists to SC4’s cause.

She played in all 20 of her team’s matches.

Peters wrapped up the season as an All-Region and All-MCCAA first team selection as well as an MCCAA All-Freshman team honoree.
