Imlay City wins 12U tourney title

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City 12U baseball squad posted a 5-0 mark for first at the CYBL All-Star Tournament in Capac this past weekend.

Imlay City opened tournament action Friday with an 8-1 win against Capac.

Saturday saw them pick up a 5-4 victory over Elba and register a 12-0 triumph against Almont.

The team then followed it up Sunday with a 15-3 win over Sandusky and secure a 12-7 victory against Armada.

Kaylub Smith, Jeremy Alter, Nolan Siegler, Jackson Dyer, Anthony Abadia, Salvatore Fontana, Brock Hill, Ben Priehs, Jackson Shroyer, Jacob Hunter, Will Thompson, Landon Nadrowski and Wyatt Dwyer comprised their championship roster. They were coached by Jeremy Alter, Rick Hunter, Rick Thompson and Rich Hunter.
