SUMMER TAX BILL

Notice is hereby given, under MCL 211.51, that property taxpayers may defer until February 14, 2025, without penalty or interest, the due date of summer property taxes on their principal residence. To qualify, total household income cannot exceed $40,000 for the 2023 calendar year, and one of the following must be met:
• 62 years of age or older, including the unmarried surviving spouse of a person who was 62 years of age or older at the time of death.
• Paraplegic, Hemiplegic or Quadriplegic
• Eligible Serviceperson, Eligible Veteran, Eligible Widow or Widower
• Blind Person
• Totally and Permanently Disabled
This form must be completed and filed with your local Treasurer by September 14, 2024. If you defer your summer taxes, they will be due and payable on February 14, 2025.
