Almont gets win over Imlay City

TRI-CITY AREA — Almont registered a 12-0 road triumph against Imlay City in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity baseball game last Wednesday.

Blake Lane (two singles and a double), Luke Winkler (two doubles) plus Tyler Brown, Ayden Ferqueron Zack Koval and Austin Swain (two singles each) paced Almont’s offensive attack. They were backed by Jason Lane (a single)

Brown was the winning Almont pitcher. He allowed three hits over six innings, struck out 11 and walked none.

Trace Dennis (two singles) and Brady Detwiler (one single) furnished Imlay City’s hits.
