Mayor Kempf called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7 p.m. Commissioners present: DeLuca, Ramirez; Sadler, Tanis, Yockey; Commissioners absent: Collison; Also present: DPW Superintendent Ed Priehs, DDA Director Christine Malzahn, Police Chief Brett Selby, Police Sergeant Sean Leathers, Clerk/Treasurer Dawn Sawicki-Franz and Public. Commissioners approved: Agenda with addition; Consent Agenda with minutes and bill payments $574,532.32; City Owned Properties RFP Negotiations; Add one Police Patrol Officer; MDOT Letter of Support; Lamb Steele HVAC $547,000; Amend draft budget $170,000 – HVAC; ME Simpson Leak Detection $48,350; P&R appointment Jeremy Hayden; July 05, 2024 office closure; Cinco De Mayo permit for May 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.; ICHS Swing Out Parade permit May 31, 2024 at 6 p.m.; Closed session at 8:30 p.m.; Open Meeting at 8:38 p.m.; Adjournment 8:48 p.m.
