Almont ousted by Lake Fenton
ALMONT — Almont absorbed a 72-57 loss to Lake Fenton in a Division 3 boys’ district basketball opening round matchup Monday night.

With the outcome, Lake Fenton moves to 16-7 overall. Almont wraps up a 14-9 season.
In Monday’s matchup, Almont and Lake Fenton finished the first quarter with 17 points each.
The middle two quarters saw Lake Fenton amass 42 total points and Almont collect 28, leaving the former up 59-45 with 24 minutes gone.
Lake Fenton then outscored Imlay City 13-12 from that point on, closing out a 72-57 win.
Owen Rayl (17 points, including a trifecta) and Chase Davedowski (12, featuring four treys) proved Almont’s top offensive threats. The Raiders also had Jason Lane (eight points, with a pair of triples), Marko Radisavljevic (seven, including a trifecta), Jerry Schurig (six), Cam Bourdeau (four), Blake Lane (two) and Devin Sullivan (one) reach the scoring column.
