Cards get win in district opener

DRYDEN — Dryden netted a 25-16, 25-18, 25-15 win against Austin Catholic in a Division 4 opening round district volleyball matchup Monday afternoon.

Skylar Graham (12, including an ace), Lauren Abromaitis (10, featuring an ace), Olivia Stickler (nine, including an ace), Emma Raue (eight, featuring an ace), Sophia Peter (eight) and Dakota Deel (six) provided Dryden’s service points.

Graham handled the bulk of Dryden’s playmaking responsibilities. She was credited with 30 set assists.

Addie Tresnak (13), Abromaitis (seven), Raue (four) and Rilynn Lindsay (three) managed Dryden’s kills.

Peter (four) along with Abromaitis and Deel (one each) supplied Dryden’s digs.

Lindsay, Peter and Raue (one apiece) added Dryden’s blocks.
