Imlay City downs rival Richmond

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City made visiting Richmond absorb a 7-0 loss in a Blue Water Area Conference boys’ soccer matchup last Wednesday.

Sergio Galiana (set up by Christopher Galiana), Sebastian Salcedo (assisted by Edward Galindo), Edson Zepeda (set up by Salcedo), Nery Vega (assisted by Dillon Garcia) and Jose Salcedo (set up by Sebastian Salcedo) collected Imlay City’s opening half goals.

Jose Salcedo (assisted by Sebastian Salcedo) and Xavier Galeana (set up by Christopher Galiana) added Imlay City’s goals during half number two.

Quintin Ramirez (two saves) and Christopher Madrid (one) shared the goalkeeping responsibilities for Imlay City.

With the outcome, Imlay City moves to 6-2 overall and 5-0 as far as BWAC clashes are concerned.
