Almont takes first at BWAC match

ALMONT — The Almont girls’ golf team registered a first in their BWAC match last Thursday at Castle Creek.

Almont’s winning total was 195. They were followed by Lutheran Northwest (211), Armada (227), Yale (232), North Branch (242) and Richmond (243).
Imlay City also participated but did not field a complete squad.

Jesse Kautz led Almont with a medalist round of 44. The Raiders also counted Bella Moussiaux’s 49, Olivia Kotelnick’s 51 and Nora Sinastaj’s 56.

Alexa Lengemann paced Imlay City’s three-golfer contingent with a 62. Lakynn Alessandrini (64) and Summer Belleville (73) also represented the Spartans.
