Imlay City wins own tournament

IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City wrestling team posted a 5-0 mark, good for first place at a tournament it hosted last Saturday.

Imlay City started things off with a 56-23 win against Port Huron Northern. That was followed by a 49-18 victory over Troy and a 51-21 triumph against West Bloomfield.

They also earned wins by forfeit over St. Clair Shores Lakeshore and Flint Powers.

Tanner Land (103/112), Dominic D’Ambrosio (119), Julian Rojas (130/135), Conner Wildie (130/135), Anthony D’Ambrosio (152), Latham Perry (215) and Chris Torres (285) led Imlay City with unbeaten marks that day.
