Almont splits BWAC matches

ALMONT — The Almont varsity volleyball team went 1-1 in Blue Water Area Conference action last Thursday at Armada High School.

Almont opened their two match stint with a 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-13 win against Armada. That was followed by a 25-17, 16-25, 25-23, 14-25, 7-15 setback to Algonac.

Molleigh Rinke led Almont with 22 kills. Kendall Roszczewski (10 kills) and Elly Schapman (six) supported her performance.
