Dryden rolls past C-PS volleyball

DRYDEN — Dryden earned a 25-8, 25-12, 25-6 win against visiting Carsonville-Port Sanilac in a varsity volleyball meeting on Tuesday, September 7.

Becca Weiss (21 points, including six aces), Avery Grondin (13, featuring three aces), Addie Tresnak (nine, including four aces) and Lauren Abromaitis (nine, featuring one ace) proved Dryden’s most productive scorers.

Weiss handled the bulk of Dryden’s playmaking responsibilities. She finished with 17 assists.

Tresnak (eight), Avery Grondin (three) and Abromaitis (two) furnished Dryden’s top kill outputs.

Dryden also received one block each from Ashley Hickmott, Emma Raue and Abromaitis.
