Dryden hands Capac a loss

TRI-CITY AREA — Dryden registered a 25-15, 25-22, 25-22 triumph against visiting Capac in a non-league varsity volleyball encounter last Wednesday night.

Lauren Abromaitis led Dryden with six ace serves. She was backed by Becca Weiss, Skylar Graham and Emma Raue (two each) along with Alaina Penn and Addie Tresnak (one apiece).

Weiss handled the bulk of Dryden’s playmaking responsibilities. She wound up with 35 assists.

Tresnak (seven), Weiss (four), Raue and Abromaitis (two each) plus Avery Grondin, Ashley Hickmott, Joanna Livingston, Graham and Penn (one apiece) furnished Dryden’s kills.

Weiss (six), Raue (five), Tresnak (four), Grondin (two) along with Hickmott and Livingston (one each) added Dryden’s blocks.

Cerenity Helzer (five), Cathy Williamson (three), Gracie Klink (two) plus Sam Killingbeck and Julia Schaefer (one each) managed Capac’s kills.

Schaefer (18), Kenadee Malloy, Killingbeck and Helzer (eight apiece), Brianna Swamba (seven), Chloe Moran (four), Skielar Tesnow (three) along with Anna Klein, Liviya Tank and Klink (one each) provided Capac’s digs.

Moran and Killingbeck (two apiece) plus Schaefer (one) added Capac’s blocks.
