Spartans handle Richmond, 7-2

 

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City saw to it that they were up to the challenge, rolling to a 7-2 win against Richmond in a Blue Water Area Conference boys’ soccer game last Friday afternoon.

Sergio Galeana (set up by Will Tolley), Tolley (unassisted) and Galeana (set up by Juan Zepeda) furnished Imlay City’s opening half goals.

Tolley (assisted by Galeana), Giovanny Torres (set up by Luis Barragan), Torres (assisted by Galeana) and Josh Hayes (unassisted) added second half goals to Imlay City’s cause.

Quintin Ramirez got the win in goal for Imlay City. He was credited with six saves.
