Imlay City opens with win at home
IMLAY CITY — Imlay City netted a 25-15, 25-15, 25-22 win at visiting Algonac’s expense in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity volleyball matchup last Friday.
With the outcome, Imlay City bumps its mark to 1-0 versus BWAC rivals and overall.
Emma Sellers and Hope Schriber led all Imlay City hitters, cranking out six kills apiece.
Lexa Forti was Imlay City’s primary playmaker, finishing with 11 assists.
Imlay City also received 16 digs courtesy of Abigail Thibodeau.
