Attack 16U winds up in second

 

TRI-CITY AREA — Attack’s 16U team placed second in the O-Town Brawl Softball Tournament recently.

Owosso is where the action unfolded.

Attack started things off with a 4-3 win against Warriors Fastpitch on Friday, June 19.

Later that day, the team improved their tournament mark to 2-0 with a 9-1 victory over Saginaw Gold.

Two days later, Attack prevailed again. This time they obtained an 8-6 triumph against Livonia Wild.

Those outcomes landed them a spot in the semifinals where Panthers provided the opposition.

When the final out was registered, Attack notched a 4-1 win.

They then went up against Freedom for tournament honors next. That battle concluded with Freedom ahead by a 9-2 count.

Sarah Hall (Almont), Grace Johnson (Almont), Meriah Mason (Capac), Emma Sellers (Imlay City), Natalie Douglas (Imlay City), Seaana Caudillo (Imlay City), Grace Schriber (Imlay City), Kieryn McLean (Armada), Emily Ludescher (North Branch), Ashlyn Sylvester (North Branch) and Paige Walker (North Branch) comprised Attack 16U’s roster. They were coached by John Hall and Erik Johnson.
