From classroom to firetruck

The Almont fire department spent some time with students at Orchard Primary as part of National Fire Safety Week. Students learned about fire safety and to not be afraid when they see fire fighters in their firefighting gear. After a brief classroom session, students were able to go outside and tour one of the department’s fire trucks and see all the equipment that is used to fight fires or at accident scenes.
