Chilly weather, big crowd: Downtown Imlay City hosts annual Merchant Trick-or-Treat

IMLAY CITY — Crisp autumn air and sunny skies drew a large, costumed crowd to downtown Imlay City on Saturday, Oct. 17, for the annual Merchant Trick-or-Treat event.

Hosted by the Imlay City Chamber of Commerce, the popular community tradition brought out residents of all ages — including the VanDeberghe family (Kyle, Andrea, Kylo, and Caleb)—to collect candy and seasonal treats from dozens of participating local businesses and community vendors. Despite chilly temperatures, organizers noted strong turnout throughout the afternoon.
