Shirley Mae Oswald
Shirley Mae Oswald, 90, of Shelby Township., formerly of Almont, passed away Friday September 25, 2026.
She was born in Almont on January 31, 1936, the daughter of William and Maude Gottschling. She married Harold Oswald in Capac.
Shirley was a homemaker in Almont and enjoyed cooking for and raising her family and she loved her jewelry.
She is survived by her daughter, Candy (Jim) Schoonover of Shelby Township; son-in-law, Jim Duff of Delaware; grandchildren, Cassie (Jeff) Gilley of Clinton Township, Courtney Schoonover of Oxford, Christopher (Michelle) Schoonover of Lake Orion, James (Christine) Duff of Delaware and Megan Duff of New Mexico; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Aubrey, Thomas, Lily, Jameson, Nora, Amara, Addy Rose, Ian, Felicity and Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; one daughter, Cheryl, five sisters and one brother.
Cremation has been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont. Burial will be made in Ferguson Cemetery at a later date.
