Bruman receives All-GLIAC honors

IMLAY CITY — Imlay City’s Chloe Bruman ended her debut campaign with the Davenport University women’s softball team recently.

She hit at a .322 clip, thanks to 36 singles and one triple in 115 at bats.

Bruman also contributed 25 runs, 17 walks and two RBI to Davenport University’s cause.

In addition to that, the freshman outfielder wound up 75 putouts and five assists while committing just three errors.  That left her with a .964 fielding percentage.

Bruman completed the 2026 campaign as an All-GLIAC honorable mention pick.

Davenport finished the season with a 17-38 overall mark, including a 12-18 league showing which was good for sixth place.
