New finance director introduced for county road commission

Lapeer County Road Commission Managing Director Dustin Gingell (right) introduces Sonja Stout, the agency’s new finance director, to Lapeer County Commission members on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Stout comes to the road commission from the Village of Lake Orion, where she’d been finance director for the last three-and-a-half years.

Gingell also announced he is stepping down as the road commission’s representative to the Region Five Planning Commission. County Commissioners voted unanimously to name Wes Sanchez, the road commission’s director of road maintenance, as his replacement.
