Upcoming spring concerts

LAPEER — The Lapeer County Concert Choir is excited to be joined this year by the Lapeer High School choir for two of their spring concerts. The program is entitled “Many Voices One Song.” Heather Hundt, director of the county choir, and Rafeal McDaniel-Walker, director of the school choir, have chosen pieces to reflect that theme. All concerts are admission free, although donations are always appreciated. Laura Cline and Nancy Tazzia will be accompanying the choirs as pianists. This is the County Choir’s 57th season. The first concert on Friday May 1 will be held at the new Lapeer H.S. Center for the Performing Arts at 7:00 p.m. Trinity Methodist Church in Lapeer will host the second concert on Sunday May 3 at 4:00 p.m. The County Choir will also be performing on the next Friday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. The high school choir will not be joining them at this concert. Amazing Grace Church in Imlay City will be hosting. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to performance times. If more information is needed, call or text 810 688-8708.
